Welcome To

Northern Cowgirl & Company!

Northern Cowgirl & Company began in 2016 as a humble lifestyle blog—a place to share stories rooted in faith, family, and the western way of life. What started as a digital journal has since grown into a vibrant cottage food and farm business nestled in the heart of rural northern Colorado.

In 2023, the Bakery Cart rolled onto the scene. I’m Chelsea—wife, momma, cowgirl, and homemaker—and I began offering fresh-cut flower bouquets in mason jars, sourdough loaves, and homemade treats made with love and eggs from our very own hens. That little cart soon blossomed into seasonal offerings like homegrown garden veggies and heirloom pumpkins in the fall. It’s been a joy and a blessing to share the fruits of our labor with our local community.

From there, I began teaching beginner sourdough classes and hosting sugar cookie decorating events, creating opportunities for people to connect, learn, and carry on beautiful homemade traditions. There’s something special about gathering around a table—sharing stories, laughter, and the work of our hands.

On the blog, you’ll find glimpses of our life: from cowgirlin’ and homesteadin’, to homemakin’ and mommin’—all rooted in the love and teachings of Jesus Christ. I share recipes from our kitchen, garden tips, reflections on motherhood, and everything in between that celebrates growing good food and a good life.

I’m blessed to do life with my husband, a hardworking welder, and our two precious kiddos. Our days are full of family, faith, and the assorted critters we raise on our little patch of land.

Thanks for stopping by. I’m so glad you’re here.
