Baking, Blooming, and Belonging: Life at Northern Cowgirl & Company

At Northern Cowgirl & Company, every loaf of bread, bouquet of flowers, and handmade treat is more than a product—it’s a piece of a life rooted in faith, family, and the rugged charm of rural Colorado. What started as a simple lifestyle blog has become a cherished local treasure: a home bakery, farm stand, and gathering place built from scratch with love and purpose.

From the Blog to the Bakery Cart

Chelsea—wife, momma, and the cowgirl behind it all—began sharing her world online in 2016. The stories of homesteading, motherhood, and western living quickly found a community of like-minded folks who cherished simple living and heartfelt traditions. By 2023, that blog spirit rolled into town on wheels in the form of a bright and cheerful Bakery Cart.

The cart quickly became known for its fresh sourdough bread, farm-fresh eggs, seasonal baked goods, and wildflower bouquets—all homemade and handpicked with care. As the seasons change, so do the offerings: heirloom pumpkins in the fall, garden veggies in the summer, and rustic holiday treats in the winter. Everything is made or grown with a homesteader’s heart and a cowgirl’s work ethic.

Creating Spaces to Gather and Grow

Northern Cowgirl & Company has also become a place where people come together. Whether it’s a beginner sourdough class or a cookie decorating party, Chelsea’s events offer more than skills—they offer connection. Around her tables, laughter flows, traditions are shared, and even strangers feel like neighbors.

These workshops honor old-fashioned know-how while creating new memories. They’re part of a growing movement to slow down, create by hand, and find joy in the everyday rhythms of life on the land.

Faith, Family, and a Colorado Way of Life

Life at Northern Cowgirl & Company is steeped in the values that matter most. Faith is the foundation, family is the focus, and the land is the classroom. Chelsea shares it all—from wrangling chickens to tending the garden to raising her babies with love and grit.

This is a business with a heartbeat—a rhythm of home-baked bread, early mornings, and honest work. And it’s a story that continues to grow, season by season.
