From Faith to Flour: The Story of Northern Cowgirl & Company

Nestled in the heart of rural northern Colorado, Northern Cowgirl & Company is more than just a Colorado bakery or farm stand—it’s a heartfelt expression of country living rooted in faith, family, and the western way of life. What began in 2016 as a humble lifestyle blog has since blossomed into a thriving business that celebrates the best of homesteading, homemaking, cowgirl grit, and community connection.

A Taste of the Colorado Homestead Life

Founder Chelsea—a true northern cowgirl, wife, momma, and homemaker—launched the Bakery Cart in 2023 with a mission to share homemade goodness straight from her land to local tables. From sourdough bread baked with homegrown eggs to fresh-cut flowers in mason jars, her seasonal offerings reflect a deep connection to Colorado’s land and a devotion to crafting with love.

In the fall, Chelsea’s roadside cart overflows with heirloom pumpkins and garden-fresh vegetables, bringing the farm stand experience to life in the most rustic, wholesome way. It’s not just about food—it’s about sharing a lifestyle that honors tradition, hard work, and simple joys.

Teaching Traditions & Building Community

Northern Cowgirl & Company isn’t only known for its mouthwatering baked goods. Chelsea also hosts beginner sourdough classes and custom cookie decorating events, inviting folks of all ages to gather, learn, and build community. Whether you’re baking your first loaf or frosting your first sugar cookie, these events bring people together in the spirit of hospitality and shared heritage.

There’s something special about sitting at a kitchen table surrounded by laughter, flour-dusted aprons, and the stories that make up a life well-lived. And that’s exactly what Chelsea offers: a place to belong, a chance to learn, and a little piece of country charm.

Life on the Land, Shared From the Heart

Every part of Northern Cowgirl & Company reflects a life devoted to faith, family, and living intentionally. From raising chickens and cattle to growing fresh produce and sharing heartfelt recipes from her kitchen, Chelsea welcomes others into her world with warmth and authenticity.

Together with her hardworking welder husband and their two children, Chelsea lives the life she shares—one filled with values that run as deep as the Colorado soil.
